This was a live performance at mac Birmingham, recorded for the Radio 3 programme “The Verb” as part of their “Verb New Voices” initiative run in partnership with the Arts Council. I had the opportunity to work on a sequence of several new pieces with the help of Sean O’Brien, and the two you can sample here are the first and the last of the lot. Enjoy!

so, i found myself watching and listening to spoken word on youtube this morning, since ya know, there was nothing better to do. i watched two poets, george watsky and sarah kay. i think i came across watsky arbitrarily a while back, and sarah kay i found in the comments of one of watsky’s vids. eventually, this lead me here to see if you’ve got anything new for me to check out. this was great. your poems are beautiful as usual. thnx for introducing me to the medium. hope life is treating you well. n :)
